Quinta do Lago

Quinta do Lago is located in the Algarve close to Vilamoura and is easily reached via Faro international airport.

The resort of Quinta do Lago is situated among the pleasantly scented Algarviran pine forests. It is also close to the Ria Formosa nature reserve and the area is noted for its beautiful wildlife, birds, plant life and salt-water lakes.

This destination is most famous for its golf courses. Quinta do Lago, host of the Portuguese Open has a large quality golf course, set in some wonderful natural surroundings of grass, water, and trees. It is also home to a lovely long stretch of Algarviran beach and water sports, such as windsurfing and sailing are offered. There are some good, upmarket, restaurants and nightlife in the area. Horse riding and tennis are also available.
