Golf is one of the principal attractions of tourism in the Algarve. Nineteen courses, many of them located in excellent hotel complexes, regularly hold national and international level competitions, the most famous being the Algarve Open of Portugal, which is held annually in March. Here you can count on the participation of world famous golfers.
